I Haven't Finished Any Games In 2026
So I realized that any projects I have done this year haven't been actually finished. I have released a prototype/demo and I did finish Crypta: Depths of Darkness but that was started last year. I'm not really bothered by this, we all have unproductive year sometimes. And besides, there's still plenty of time.
I have had problem with actually finding project ideas that I would actually enjoy finishing, I have also had little engine choice paralysis. But I have decided to keep going with RPG In A Box, it's what I know best and don't need to look up stuff that much.
My latest project idea that I feel strongly about finishing is a Undertale-inspired horror rpg. Things are currently very early to say much about it, but it's not going to be an Undertale-fangame/clone. I'm just inspired by game's setting, and mine will be something similar, world populated by monsters which player can explore. The game will not feature humor and combat will be traditional rpg-style thing, not sure yet which kind exactly.

Other than that, I don't have much else to say, I will be showing more about this new project in Bluesky and I'm hoping to release a demo at some point. It's been bit difficult year so far regarding my game development journey but nothing is easy in life. You just need to grind for the things you care about.
